Project Goals

BREIF
Revitalizing the visual appeal for a more dynamic essence, our strategy involves selectively refreshing key pages without a complete rebrand. To simplify ongoing maintenance, we're introducing BeaverBuilder and Themer layouts. Additional functionalities, including a blog, events section, and social wall, will be seamlessly incorporated. This focused enhancement goes beyond aesthetics, aiming to amplify user engagement. By allocating resources strategically, we aim to maximize the impact of the client's investment, ensuring a revamped digital presence in line with their objectives.

Design Objectives

SUCCESS METRICS CONVERSION
Aim to boost engagement by introducing new features, enhancing visual hierarchy, and improving discoverability, all of which will lead to increased conversions. Our key call to actions include:
    1. "Donate Now" - Directs users to DonorView for donation collection.
    2. "Take Action" - Links to a contact form with pre-populated fields based on the user's selection.
    3. "Stay Informed" - Encourages users to join the mailing list.

Target User

BUSINESSES
Those interested in supporting the cause can arrange for their staff to receive training on how to recognize, prevent, and report the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children.

FAITH PARTNERS
Allow us to accomplish our mission by providing support from our numerous partner organizations. We are here to serve you with evidence-based demand reduction strategies for your staff, congregation, and youth.
YOUTH
Through schools, churches, civic groups, and communities, Street Grace equips youth with the knowledge they need to protect themselves from sexual exploitation.

COMMUNITY LEADERS
Street Grace hosts awareness events within your city, offering community leaders numerous opportunities to learn about the threat of commercial sexual exploitation of children in your region and how you and your community can combat it.

Moodboarding

DESIGN INSPIRATION
Our exploration commenced with a deep dive into the brand's essence, seeking images that truly embody Street Grace's personality and vision. The moodboard served as a wellspring of inspiration, enabling us to craft the color palette and define the comprehensive visual direction for the revamp.

Visual Identity

BUILDING THE SYSTEM

Using the existing branding of the organisation we built on the palatte and added to the typography. Focused on sheltering kids the colors used show liveliness, safety, stability, trust and transparency.

LAYOUTING AND CONTENT DESIGN
During this phase, we engaged in testing and experimenting with various content designs and layouts to achieve optimal information dissemination and ensure high visibility of CTAs, prioritizing key metrics and conversions.

Final Outcome

UPDATED LOOK
The end product materialized as a dynamic website featuring compelling calls-to-action that not only captured attention but also spurred action. The visuals were crafted to ignite a sense of inspiration and foster a sense of community living. Below are some of the pages designed by me.

Reflections

DESIGN COLLABORATION
As a member of a substantial UX design team, I witnessed seamless collaboration among project managers, senior designers, and content strategists. The invaluable insights gained from this experience primarily centered around project planning, emphasizing the importance of feedback loops, resource allocation, and internal timeline management. The mentorship and knowledge-sharing culture at Creative Mischief significantly bolstered my confidence, especially as the project transitioned into the live phase. While the project scope didn't encompass user testing, I couldn't help but envision the potential evolution of design and branding through direct user feedback.
